Having a dog in your house means every time you open a crinkly packet or go to the fridge, they will be there waiting for treats. Now you want them to have the joy of eating a delicious treat for dogs. So you throw them something, they open their mouth and gulp it down (Unless it bounces off them and onto the floor, then they gulp it down).
But have you ever wondered what exactly has happened in those milliseconds from when you threw the treat to when they swallowed it? Well, a dog photographer by the name of Christian Vieler did. So he took on the challenge of freezing time the moment we have all been waiting for.
Christian started his dog portrait venture in 2013 and by 2015 the treats for dogs show took off. He threw a treat in the air and start snapping away at the dog’s face. The result? Cute and hilarious motions of lips, teeth, tongue, eyes, and treats.
It seems as though most dogs seem surprised by the treat. Others have a simple goofiness to their facial expressions.
And if the dog did not catch the treat, it made for an even funnier scene as they could not believe they dropped the delicious treat for dogs.
But they all had fun. Although they did not give up. And they made the most priceless facial expressions. Because they all worked very hard to catch the treats, they were rewarded in the end.
So the next time you throw a treat for dogs to your dog. And pay close attention to their facial expressions. Better yet, have a camera close by to start snapping away at their hilarious facial expressions.
You can “catch” more of Christian’s photos on his website and on his Facebook Page. Thank you, Christian, for bringing these dog photos into our lives.
If you found this adorable, please share with your friend and family. And if you do not have a treat for your dog, do not worry, they might enjoy no treats as well.
