Photographers don’t miss an opportunity to take photos of cute dogs, but do they ever ask what dogs would like to have photographed? Introducing “Phodography”.
Nikon hopes to let dog owners see what excites and interests their dogs by using its new “Heartography” heart monitor and photo camera system. Each time something causes the dog’s heart rate to rise, a photo is taken from a camera attached to their chest. To show us their point of view.
Such as this bird:
An adjustable strap attaches the monitor to the dog’s neck. A harness holds the camera on the dog’s chest, and the two communicate via Bluetooth.
Your pooch may need your help starting up their social media page. But then, all the phodography will come from them. And who wouldn’t want to see what interests your dog?
I mean, check this shot out:
A picture is taken whenever the happy dog’s heart rate increases, such as seeing something exciting.
This makes taking your dog for a walk much better as they can show you what they like, what they see, what they do, where they go, what they smell, and who they make friends with. Showing everyone who they are through their photos.
Although the cool photosystem is not yet available for purchase, hopefully, it may soon become available.
Nikon’s promotional video stars Grizzler, the first “phodographer” to take pictures of fascinating subjects with the system. Take a look at these incredible dog photos below!
He is definitely the world’s cutest “phodographer” and I hope phodography becomes a new trend.
