A heartless couple was caught on camera dumping 11 pups outside a shelter in Florida. Since dumping animals is so cruel, the cops are looking out for the couple.
The Walton County Sheriff said the heartless couple could be charged for their cold-blooded crime if the cops track them down.
The official statement said, “Dumping animals is ILLEGAL, and these individuals could face criminal charges. Reaching out does not mean dropping animals off on a day when the shelter is closed and leaving them for dead.”
“It means picking up the phone and allowing Animal Services employees to provide a time for intake to collect information about your animals. Those dogs have clearly had a rough 24 hours.”
The sheriff’s office posted a short video on Twitter that reveals a couple stopping outside the local Walton County Animal Shelter in a white Ford F-150 truck during midday on a Sunday.
The video clearly shows a woman who walks up to the shelter’s door, followed by a black dog. Along with the help of her companion, she places a box near the front door of the shelter.
The heartless couple briefly browses through the stack of funds left at the shelter before driving away.
The sheriff’s office added, “It’s at that moment when the dog realizes she’s been abandoned and left behind. An hour goes by before staff sees the momma dog peering through the windows of the shelter.”
Eleven puppies were inside the box, left by the heartless couple, along with their mamma dog.
The deputies are now asking locals to recognize the heartless couple and report to the office immediately.
