A senior rescue dog finds a forever-loving home after a rescue mission from a water facility. The Hope For Paws team received a call about an abandoned senior dog at a water treatment facility.
The dog smelled like sewer and probably had an infection too. He appeared old, starving, lonely, and surrounded by dangerous chemicals. The senior dog did not know of affection or love.
He wouldn’t even let the rescue team come near him.
Mufasa, the senior rescue dog, had inhabited the facility that also hosted harmful chemicals.
It was dangerous territory for the dog, and the team had to be very careful in their mission.
The rescue dog appeared scared, and the team had to act urgently and efficiently without scaring the dog.
The heroes of Hope For Paws lured the dog with hamburgers. The rescue dog was famished and naturally followed the hamburgers, while the rescuers remained vigilant and patient.
As soon as Mufasa became comfortable, they threw a leash in his neck and captured the dog. One of the heroes decided to adopt the rescue dog and gave him a forever home.
They took the dog to the Hope For Paws center, where he was neutered, microchipped, and groomed. Mufasa was also treated for an ear infection.
The doggo loved the royal treatment and soon became friendly with his new family. Mufasa’s transformation is moving for many.
We are glad that the rescue dog will receive all the love in the world with his new family.
Currently, Mufasa’s owner specializes in caring for senior dogs and he is in the best possible care.
