Digby was a dog hailed as a hero after saving the life of a lady in Exeter, UK, who was contemplating suicide by leaping over a bridge.
Because of this lovely dog Digby and his irresistible charm, she came back to life.
That is why Digby earned the title of ‘defusing’ dog, who could miraculously diffuse difficult situations, such as saving this woman’s life.
Digby was an employee at the emergency department in Devon. He was a multi-talented pet, but this act he performed was nothing short of a heroic act. Digby came to her rescue when a young woman contemplated suicide on a bridge above the M5 in Exeter.
While chatting with the woman, the officers realized the situation was growing increasingly concerning. There was no way she was ready to back off.
One of the firefighters then proposed that they take Digby’s assistance. During ‘diffusing’ sessions, Digby used to assist workers who had been exposed to trauma.
According to them, when Digby came, the young lady somehow got relaxed.
She smiled and swung her head around to look. This sparked a discussion about Digby’s place in the fire department. The officers then tactfully engaged her and informed her about the amazing qualities this dog had.
She was asked whether she wanted to meet Digby if she returned over the rails.
Intrigued and lured in by the charm and extraordinary traits of the dog, she surprisingly agreed to come out of the mental block she was caught up in.
Digby’s trainer, Matt, was also acknowledged by the squad. He then arranged a remarkable meeting between the two. It might be that she felt the intense vibes of pure loyalty and care from the innocent pet that saved her life.
