Purin, the multi-record-breaking Japanese dog, has set a new world record.
In May 2016, the 11-year-old beagle and her owner Makoto Kumagai set a new world record for the most successful jumps by a dog and a person in one minute – single rope with a total of 51 jumps. (Picture Below)
After a few months of more preparation, the duo has improved the record to a whopping 58 skips.
The attempt took occurred in the Japanese town of Ito, Shizuoka.

Purin initially gained notoriety in 2015. When she was named to the Guinness World Records 2016 Edition for catching the most balls with the paws in one minute.
Read more about her previous record here. Makoto threw 14 little footballs at the goalkeeper pup, who expertly ‘saved’ 14 of them.
With 10.39 seconds set in March 2016, the clever canine also holds the record for the fastest 10 m run by a dog on a ball.

Purin and Makoto were recently filmed exhibiting their incredible skills on Facebook Live in Tokyo, Japan.
Purin has established herself as an irrepressible record-breaker, and we can’t wait to see what incredible feat she will perform next.
