Meet Purin, the cutest goalkeeper in the world of sports. She’s a 12-year-old Beagle with unique soccer talent.
She doesn’t simply defend her goal; she also uses her front paws to capture soccer balls. She’s gotten rather excellent at it. She even broke the Guinness World Record for the most balls caught in a minute by a dog using its front paws.
“On March 22, 2015, 9-year-old Purin, a Beagle, and her owner Makoto Kumagai set a record for the most balls caught by a dog with its paws in one minute in Sakura, Chiba, Japan,” Guinness announced.
“The Tokyo beagle can also skateboard, rope ski, walks on two legs, and perform a variety of other astonishing feats.”
The Beagle’s new World Record of 14 small soccer balls caught beat out her previous World Record of 11 sets the year before.
Purin is calm, joyful, and always willing to play, according to Kumagai, who has had her since she was a puppy.

Her Japanese owner claims that they practice for fifteen minutes every day at their home. However, her owner doesn’t want her to become bored, so she doesn’t practice for too long.
Purin is a fantastic athlete.
She also owns two other Guinness World Records, including the fastest 10 meters run by a dog on a ball. She completed the task in 9.45 seconds. That’s probably faster than we could run without collapsing.
Purin also set a new record for the most rope skips in a minute with her owner, with 58! You can find Purin on Facebook and Instagram if you want to keep up with her.
