A Golden Retriever, Finley from Canandaigua, NY, breaks the Guinness World Record for ‘Most Tennis Balls Held in the Mouth.’ He incredibly held six tennis balls in his mouth without dropping any.
Finley’s mom, in an interview, talked about the doggo’s love for tennis balls and how it all happened.
“When Finley was 2, he came up to me in the backyard with four tennis balls in his mouth—I was in disbelief. It’s fun to look back and think, that’s nothing compared to what he can do now!”
“Finley LOVES fetch. My dad would throw a tennis ball to him; he’d catch it, drop it, and wait for my dad to throw another. Rather than just bringing one back, he brings back all 6!”

So how does one go about making a spot in the final list? Erin, Finley’s hooman, read about the existing Guinness World Record holder for five tennis balls in their mouth.
She quickly sent an application to the organizers, telling them about Finley’s amazing talent. The entire process took months with several stages, the duo had to clear.
It required filing an application, a cover letter, pictures, video proof, two witness records, a statement from the vet, and a lot more.

Like most golden dogs, Finley is cuddly, super active, and loves to run, swim, and hike. In the summer, you can always find this handsome boy in the pool or rolling in the snow in the winter.
Oh! And he’s always got his tennis balls with him.
When Finley is not breaking a World Record, he’s showing off his skills to the neighbors, friends, and internet friends.
You can always find him lounging by the pool with his tennis balls by his side.
