A bulldog from Denmark, Bogart became viral after someone caught him peering through gaps in a fence with a crown and regal robe painted on the outside.
The video has over 62,000 shares on Facebook.
The dog’s owner, Ranveig Bjrklid Levinsen, said that her family has two English bulldogs: Winston, a 7-year-old female, and Bogart, a 3-year-old male named after the late actor Humphrey Bogart. Because their home is next to a hiking trail, the dogs are well-known in the community.
“Every day, a large number of individuals pass through,” Levinsen added. “They’re photographing the dogs, and locals occasionally stop to talk to them and give them a treat.”
Winston would always jump over the fence, according to Levinsen, so her husband built a new one with holes in it. As a result, Winston and Bogart can now see what’s going on without having to leave the property.
“I thought it would be entertaining to have something similar to what you see at amusement parks when you push your head through the holes and get your photo taken,” the dog owner added.
“I have the concepts, but I’m not a natural painter. So my youngest daughter used paint to cover the holes in the costumes.”
Since Levinsen revealed that Bogart refused to walk when he was a baby, the holes are an excellent solution.
“At first, we had to carry him out,” she explained. “He’s one of a kind. He’s incredibly sweet and caring., but he’s also very stubborn. He despises going for a walk.”
Random folks walking by the house now recognize the dogs as a result of the Facebook video.
Levinsen remarked, “It’s been a consistent response.” “People like it because it’s authentic. Furthermore, the dogs appear to be really amusing, “she stated.
