Five months ago, Luisa Marun adopted a grateful dog that she didn’t know would impress her with her gratitude. Charlene, the dog, was abandoned by her previous owner when Marun found her and decided to adopt her. Little did she know that she would need rescuing from the case of the hiccups.
She said in an interview, “I ended up adopting her.”
While the grateful dog was thankful to Marun for adopting her, she was even more grateful when her hooman saved her from a minor inconvenience.
Recently, Marun noticed that her dog had come down with a case of hiccups.
When they did not go on away on their own, poor doggo became exhausted.
Marun shared, “She had been playing when the hiccups suddenly began. She then laid down on my bed, feeling upset.”
Marun wanted to help her pooch and recalled how one trick always helped her cure the hiccups.
A little harmless startle always worked when she or her friends had a case of non-stop hiccups.
In the video below, the dog was definitely taken by surprise. But sure did the trick work.

A small scare was all Charlene needed for her annoying hiccups to go away. And, of course, the grateful dog couldn’t be more grateful.
Marun added, “She seems to have been happy when she saw that the hiccups had stopped!”
She then proceeded to give Marun many kisses of thanks.
“She brightens my days,” Marun said. “I’m in love with her and would do anything she wishes.”
