When a Rottweiler dog breeder couple brings their seven Rottie pups to the vet clinic for their puppy checkup and to get them vaccinated, their vet, Dr. Ross, shows up for the appointment. He does not expect to fall for one of these pups.
It turns out Dr. Ross once had a Rottie named Zuri when he was in vet school and that pup was a pretty special dog to him during those challenging times. He tells his clients that he had to put Zuri down about a year ago due to old age and health issues.
As the vet appointment goes on and the vet goes through the motions of the exam, Dr. Ross ends up breaking his personal rule of not getting attached to his patients.
He ends up adopting one of the cute Rottie pups.
This little girl pup reminds him so much of his Zuri! As the pup licks his face, Dr. Ross just cannot help himself and decides to take this fluffy little puppy home.
After Dr. Ross brings the puppy home, his sons quickly name the pup Elsa while his wife is initially not convinced that adding a pup to their already busy family is a good idea.
However, Elsa quickly wins over the hearts of all family members with her cute eyes and sweet personality.
Dr. Ross’ wife talks to a friend about the needs and benefits of obedience training. The family decides that Elsa should go through with it, as she will be a big dog very soon. And so Elsa starts puppy training to be the best pup she can be.
She learns commands like “Sit”, “Fetch” and “Stay”. She does great and even upstages her training classmates! Turns out that Elsa is a great dog for the whole family!
