Carson, a middle school boy, struggled to stand up to bullies in his school. His mental and emotional health took a toll when the bullying continued.
Carson began feeling anxious and did not feel like going to school in fear of facing the bullies.
His family sought all kinds of professional help to boost their son’s confidence. They approached the school and took help from external sources, but nothing worked.
One day, Carson’s mom had a brilliant idea. She read about pets making their hoomans feel loved and good about themselves.
She figured that would be the best remedy for Carson’s growing anxiety.
Upon searching for a best friend for her son, she came across a sweet pup named Zero. After being struck by a car, Zero lost his leg that had to be amputated.
Luckily, he was up for adoption by A Forever Home Rescue Foundation. Zero needed a family to love him endlessly regardless of his condition and a forever home to call his own.
Carson’s mum knew the pup would inspire her son to conquer the bullies at school. She was right. Soon Zero and Carson formed an inseparable bond and became best friends.
Both Carson and Zero know they have a friend who will love them forever, no matter the case. Despite the challenges in Zero’s life, he was full of joy.
Zero had a huge impact on Carson’s mental and emotional health when school started again. He became confident and could stare the bullies in the eye. The story of Carson and Zero is an inspiration for many.
