Imagine waking up in the morning and your 15-month-old toddler is out of bed and in the passage. You would seriously check your home security.
Getting through a closed door that she is unable to open because she cannot reach the door handle. It must be quite baffling. These parents put a security camera in the room to find out there is a jailbreak happening.
Bleu and Colby, known as Cheese Patrol, are Golden Retriever brothers who have their fair share of fame. Chris and Nina, the parents, made a 9-month timelapse video of them running for their meals when they were pups.
Now they have gone viral again for their escape artistry against the best security.
Their partner-in-crime toddler Chloe and them are very close siblings. Although she might have bought their love because she is over-generous with snack time than the parents. And the two brothers are not slow to figure out that she is always willing to share her food.
Colby lies underneath Chloe’s high chair every night because she spills on the floor. At least the parents do not have to worry about cleaning after mealtimes.
But now that she is tall enough to reach into their food bin, she is scooping out kibble for them to snack. And they are loving it.
The two brothers like to wake up early, 6 am. And they expect the buffet to be out and ready for them. If it is not, which is usually the case, they go to “knock” (bark) outside the parents’ door to wake them up.
If this does not work, they do something a little more innovative to get breakfast.
They quietly opened the door to Chloe’s room. Sneak inside and give Chloe licks and gentle nudges to wake her up. After successfully waking her up, they lead her towards the snacks. And Chloe does not object. And all this happened without the knowledge of the parents.
So when Nina found Chloe wandering free in the halls that morning, she really was curious.
So they put a security camera in Chloe’s room to see what was happening. The footage shows the cutest jailbreak.
The intelligent pups know exactly what they are doing. So does Chloe. But this will end soon enough when they move to a new house and they will put in tighter security measures.
