This family dog made a kitty best friend when his family adopted Casper, a small kitten. At first, they were unsure how the dog would react, but their friendship surprised Colleen Harrison and her family.
When Rex met Casper for the first time, it was love at first sight.
Rex and his kitty best friend have the same energy.
The two love to snuggle all day and goof around. If anyone from the family tries to play with Casper, Rex does not find it exciting.
Harrison said in an interview, “At first, Rex didn’t like anyone coming near the kitten. He was very protective of him. He’s the same way with our children. Anytime the kitten or our kids are out of Rex’s sight or in another room he can’t get to, he just sits close by whining for them.”
Sometimes when Rex and his kitty best friend are snuggled up together, he would hide him from the other family members. Unfortunately, Casper is too feisty and wiggly to play hide and seek for long.
“Rex doesn’t mind others holding or playing with the kitten now, but he does keep an eye on him at all times,” Harrison said.
The two are best friends, and the family is excited to see them grow together.
Thank you The Dodo for the story. Thank you Colleen Harrison for the video!
Impish Border Collie Hilariously Is Wary Of Innocent Cow Statue
It’s not new for fur parents to see their canine pals taking a look at every new thing they see in their surroundings. Even if such an item’s bizarre, dogs muster their courage to try and take a closer look at such an object. Even if it’s a giant cow.
