We have all had that discussion with someone over who is better – cat or dog. Creating cat vs dog obstacle challenges, Luana and Rick would see who are the more agile, careful, and determined creatures in their house.
The challengers for the dogs are Akira, Leona, and Atena, the three dogs. But Moa the puppy came later on. And for the cat is Mia. Let the games begin:
Obstacle Challenge Cat vs Dog
The first challenge is to walk to the other side without knocking over any of the standing objects. Mia goes first. Which she easily walks through. Putting more obstacles in her way did not prove to be a problem. She just walks over them without knocking one.
The Dogs turn. They all were very hesitant at first. They did not know how to maneuver their way through the objects. But after knocking over a few, Akira and Leona managed to get past.
Atena struggled a little more. She even picked a piece up with your mouth and knocked over a few before jumping over.
Cup Obstacle Challenge
Now to walk over plastic cups. Mia did this with ease. Even on the harder level, she chose the hardest path to go through. Still with ease.
Atena took one for the dog team on this challenge. Knocking over a few cups in the first level, but managing to get through. The second level proved to be a challenge.
Very unsure of how to get through. She knocked over a few before even trying. But eventually pushed through.
Toilet Paper Wall Challenge – Cat vs Dog
With this challenge, both passed with ease on the first few levels. But when the toilet paper wall got above Mia’s head, it took a little more convincing for her to make the jump. Which she did. But the next level was too much, so she just walked through the wall.
Akira did well on this challenge, managing to get to the 9th level. She was very proud of her athleticism.
Laser Pointer Cat vs Dog
Cats love to chase the laser pointer. So it is no surprise that Mia runs around like crazy chasing it.
The dogs did not understand the aim of the game. But Akira figured out that the laser pointer is coming from mommy’s hand and that is the target.
Do cats walk on foil? And Dogs?
After hearing that cats do not like to walk on surfaces with foil, they did a test. Mia did not immediately respond well to the foil, taking the gaps instead. But once the laser pointer came out, she did not worry too much about the foil. There is a red dot that must be caught.
The dogs just ran over the foil like it was not there. Messing up all of the foil.
Block Obstacle challenge Cat vs Dog
Mia once again proved that cats are better at maneuvering through standing objects without pushing them over. On both levels, she quickly walks over all of them and only drops five. But she doesn’t care, she’s a cat.
Akira and Leona did not do so well, knocking over many. But getting to the other side. Atina, picking up a flip flop, struggled to understand how she would be able to get across.
After getting across on the first level doing very well, she pushed through on the second and knocked over most of them in her path.
Crepe Paper Hallway Obstacle Challenge
Mia once again proved her ability to get through obstacle courses with ease. While some of the dogs could not even complete the challenge. This was too scary for them.
Pencil Obstacle Challenge Cat vs Dog
This time there was a path for them to get through. But there were lots of pencils standing around the path. So the dogs were a lot more confident to get through this one. Except for young Moa, who took a lot more convincing.
Level two was proving to be tricky. Especially for Atena, with her flip flop that she could not put down, not even for food. The flip flop was definitely a factor in knocking over so many.
Mia doesn’t care about these challenges anymore, they are too easy.
