A surfing dog in Florida went viral for living his best life in flooded streets after the rain. A year after a terrible storm visited the streets of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Peter Rosen taught his dog to surf.
Recently when the streets flooded again, Rosen hoped his surfing dog remembered the skills he learned last year.
“We pulled the board out, and he immediately recalled it and immediately hopped right on,” Rosen shared in an interview.
A neighbor, Rachel Frank, was walking her dog down the road when she noticed Rosen and Bo preparing to ride the waves.
She said, “I couldn’t stop laughing and filming. My dog was with me and just wanted to jump in and play too.”
Rosen taught Bo surfing by pulling him through the water.
The learning took some time, but Bo soon gained balance and became the local surfing dog.
“He’s pretty talented,” Rosen added.
Rosen and Bo love spending their time together. The surfing dog never misses an opportunity to spend time with his dad. Apparently, surfing is not Bo’s only mode of transportation. You can find him riding in a sidecar alongside his dad.
“He’s pretty much gung ho for anything I want to do,” Rosen said. “He just wants to be with me.”
