A dog that gets accidentally abandoned would likely become confused. As a result, such dogs might go to certain places and expect their owner to be there. This happened to a fluffy dog called Dongchul when his owner passed away.
The operations director of a factory took in Dongchul as a rescue off the streets. His owner passed away due to an unforeseen illness, leaving him under the care of the other factory workers. Dongchul didn’t know what to do without his owner, so he became stressed.
The other employees tried to put Dongchul on a leash and make him stay indoors. But the fluffy dog always escaped and wandered out.
After several failed attempts, the factory workers just let him roam around freely since he always came back home at the end of the day.
As a result, the dog is always outside, getting food from the different establishments that he and his owner frequented.
Dongchul has seven specific restaurants that he constantly visits.
The owners of these restaurants recognized him and constantly gave him food. This became part of his daily routine which made him gain a lot of weight.
One day this fluffy dog went to the veterinarian for a health checkup.
Fortunately, the doctor did not diagnose him with any illness or health problem. However, the veterinarian recommended that Dongchul should lose some weight because his excess fat might cause problems in the future.
After the health checkup, Dongchul was given a well-needed haircut and bath. He had not received grooming since his owner passed. As expected, the bath and haircut made him look better, making his charming face more visible.
After the grooming session, Dongchul and his new guardian visited his seven favorite places.
The dog’s new look surprised the restaurant owners. One of them even promised to help him with his weight loss journey by serving him healthy food.
And he now even has a backpack with healthy treats for the restaurant owners to feed him.
