Franklin, an adorable bulldog, loves sleeping in the most awkward position in his hooman’s garden. Last year, Catilin and her parent Grant dug a drainage ditch in their backyard.
The two were hoping the hold would be a perfect size for water to drain.
They didn’t realize that the hold might not be the right size for water drainage, but it was the perfect size for their bulldog to sleep in.
Caitlin said in an interview, “While Grant was digging the 20-foot-long trench, Franklin just hopped down into it and laid down. He just kept burrowing down, and if someone picked him up … he would immediately jump back in.”
The couple adopted the bulldog in 2020, who has since then been a constant goofball in their life.

Franklin loves his family and wants to be a part of all the fun activities they do together as a family.
Franklin, the bulldog, loves to swing on the family’s porch swing and join his mom for a pottery class. When Franklin is not burrowing holes to lay in, he is making friends and helping his mom with gardening.
“He’s just the cutest, funniest little ball of fur,” Caitlin added. “His personality is huge.”
Franklin likes the cozy feeling of lying in the soft and cool mud. It’s like a safe spot where he is unbothered and perhaps feels like a freshly planted gardenia. Regardless the bulldog loves being included in everything his parents do.
