Maymo, a gorgeous beagle, puts on his chef’s cap and apron in order to whip up delicious spaghetti for his family. So off to the kitchen he goes to start preparing the food.
1) Crush the garlic
No spaghetti is good without some garlic. So Maymo uses a spatula to crush the garlic, after a few hits he knocks the garlic off the chopping board. Clearly, he has to bring out the big guns. Here comes the chef’s knife.
After successfully chopping the garlic he puts it in the pan to fry with some oil. To get the garlic off the chopping board takes some effort and some garlic goes all over the stove, but enough goes into the pan.
He doesn’t forget to add the crushed oregano and red pepper to the frying garlic for that extra spice. And adds the tomato puree for a delicious tomatoey flavor.
He scraps it into a large pot and is already licking his chops.
2) Prepare the spaghetti
Maymo carefully puts the spaghetti into a large pot and brings it to a boil.
3) Make marinara sauce
He then decides to prepare the marinara sauce from scratch using tinned whole tomatoes. While inspecting the tins, his chef’s hat gets in his eyes and says “basta con questo cappello” (“enough of this hat”) in a very Italian accent, he is not Italian.
Using a tin opener, he opens the tins and has a quick taste of the tomatoes before cooking them. He even takes on out to try and shoves it off to the side as his approval.
After putting the whole tomatoes into the pot with the crushed garlic and might have accidentally knocked in the tins with it. He then adds the basil to the pot and struggles to get the basil container out of the pot. Using a handheld masher, he tries to mash the mixture to a smooth concoction.
As a result, all he manages to do is splash tomato juice everywhere and drop the masher onto the floor. Clearly frustrated, he throws the whole pot into the dustbin.
4) Use bottled marinara sauce instead
He decides to get the bottled marinara sauce out of the pantry and he is happy with his achievements, but still is not happy with his chef’s hat. After opening the bottle, he has a quick taste to make sure it tastes just as good as the fresher tomatoes, which he is satisfied with.
5) Prepare the spaghetti dish
Now it is time to prepare the dish. Maymo puts the drained spaghetti into a bowl. Adds the bottled marinara sauce. Grates some parmesan cheese, but cannot resist the temptation to taste the cheese while grating. Puts a basil leaf on for decor. And voilà. He has successfully made spaghetti.
6) Let sister devour the dish
Maymo relaxes after a hard day’s work in the kitchen while his beagle sister, Penny, enjoys all the spaghetti to herself and gets it all over her face. Which is the only way spaghetti is meant to be enjoyed.
