Tinsley, a smart dog, rescued her owner from a deadly car crash with the police’s help. If it weren’t for her, Cam Laundry, her hooman would not have survived.
The New Hampshire State Police received several calls about a lost dog wandering near the Vermont border on a bridge on a late Monday evening.
When police found the scared dog, they tried to capture her. However, each time they got closer to catching her, the dog ran ahead.
As the smart dog led the troopers Northbound, they reached a section of a broken guardrail.
Upon inspecting, they discovered a pickup truck in shambles that had tripped off the highway.
The two passengers in the truck were ejected and lying face down. They were severely injured and experiencing hypothermia.
Later, the police discovered that the 1-year old Shiloh Shepherd belonged to Cam Laundry, who was driving the truck that night.
Tinsley, the smart dog, however, injured in the accident was brave enough to escape and get the police to the incident scene.
As the officers called for help, Tinsley stood by her hoomans, not letting them out of sight.
During the investigation, it was found that Laundry was under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred. His partner was hospitalized for severe injuries while he got away with only minor ones.
Unfortunately, another dog in the crash passed away, and Laundry had to appear in court for a DUI.
As a token of appreciation, Cam promised Tinsley a big venison dinner. She truly is her hooman’s guardian angel.
