Jeffrey is a golden retriever who absolutely loves to swim. But wasn’t a natural like his older brother. His big brother, Kevin, helped him overcome his fear of swimming and become a pro.
The parents of the golden retrievers invited their dog friends, Max and Finn, for a picnic at the beach. Scared, Jeffrey walked along the shore. All he could do was watch his brother and friends splashing water in the ocean and having a blast.
Jeffrey also wanted a part in the fun but was too timid and needed some boosting.
The doggos’ mom, Elysse Gorney, shared, “Jeffrey was a little hesitant at first to get his paws wet. But he saw Kevin charge right into the water with so much confidence that I think Jeffrey really noticed this.
The next thing I know, Jeffrey is swimming right next to Kevin, going after a tennis ball. It was awesome to watch.”

Gorney added, “Kevin has the best temperament. He is a goofy, fun-loving boy who just wants to share his love and smiles with the world.”
Jeffrey initially feared swimming, but now the two brothers swim together all the time. The two also attended a doggie pool party, where Jeffrey joined his other friends in the pool.
“He has been such a great big brother to Jeffrey,” Gorney said. “I think that Jeffrey is learning a lot from Kevin.”
“Jeffrey immediately fit right into our routine. He’s so funny and confident and loves Kevin. Kevin loves him too. Seeing them play together makes me so happy.”
