Milo, the golden retriever, has always been a kind and gentle soul. Ever since he was a kid, Milo always helped his mom when she was out gardening.
The family garden is home to all kinds of plants and flowers that attract beautiful butterflies. Milo soon became friends with his backyard butterflies, and together they have a blast.
Milo’s mom, Jen Bennett, said, “We grow lots of food and flowers in our garden so it is a wonderland for butterflies. Two years ago we started raising monarchs, which has been so fun. Milo loves to watch all the butterflies fly around.”
The butterflies, too, have become fond of the golden retriever, and they often sit on Milo’s nose and hang out for a bit.
The adorable doggo is gentle and always lets the butterflies perch on his nose while he enjoys their company.
Bennett adds, “He is always patient when they land on him. He sees their process with me, from baby caterpillars to chrysalis then to butterflies. He knows they are our friends. He loves hanging out with the butterflies. We check the butterflies every morning.”
The golden retriever has his own cooking show with his mom and has always been a poser as well. When the butterflies began perching on Milo’s face, his hooman took some incredible photos and uploaded them for the internet to see.
An unlikely friendship between the doggo and the insect blossomed, and the fans wanted to see more.
Bennett shared, “We had millions of painted lady butterflies that migrated through our garden. It was like a cloud of butterflies coming, though. He just kept looking up at them in wonder. Looking back and forth so fast to not to miss any!”
