Golden Retriever Sonny couldn’t hide his joy as he learned that his parents were getting married.
We should all share our most memorable moments with our dogs since they can enhance our experience.
That certainly includes marriage proposals like this one, which featured a golden retriever named Sonny who did his best to celebrate his parents’ engagement. Sonny and his parents, Madison and Jack, appear to be getting set to take a lovely photo on the beach in August in the viral TikTok video.
Jack gets down on one knee and delivers the ring to Sonny once he’s settled in. Madison, the video’s creator, smiles and covers her mouth while Sonny digs a small hole and sprints for the camera.
That’s right; this cute little guy has a case of the zoomies.
Sonny, it appears, caught a glimpse of the ring and was so happy about his parents’ upcoming wedding that he felt compelled to celebrate the occasion by racing around on the sand. So he scoots, shuffles, and circles their legs in figure of eights. Everything is so sweet. (By the way, Madison said yes.)
In a later video, she says, “It was the most beautiful day of our lives.”
According to commenters on the proposal video, Sonny’s route nearly created the shape of a heart—or perhaps a heart-infinity sign combination—which can only bode good things for this trio.
The proposal video, posted on Dec. 3, has already received over 12.6 million views.
So, will Sonny be able to attend the big event?
Madison followed up with a video saying she thought about including the golden retriever in their wedding. Knowing how excited he gets, hiring a professional to care about him on their wedding day might be a good idea.
Sonny will undoubtedly add excitement to the party, whether he walks down the aisle or simply stands for photos. All he needs now is some pet-friendly wedding clothes to complete the look!

A german shepherd, no matter how physically different they are from humans, is much like human kids. When they want to do something, they will undoubtedly muscle their way to do it, even if it involves defying their parents’ order. Such as this one in the family’s pond.
