Popular YouTuber MrBeast publicizes all dogs in a shelter and creates billboards all over town to get the appropriate PR to get every single dog in the shelter adopted to a loving family!
In addition to creating custom billboards to get potential adoptees to come visit the shelter, MrBeast also offers 10 years’ worth of dog (a $6,000 value) food to anyone who adopts a pet.
This makes it really much easier to adopt a dog for those who might not be able to afford a pet due to the long-term cost of dog food.
Some of the dogs that get adopted have been at the shelter for a long time. One example is Gia, who has been at the shelter for 6 months. In these cases, it is sometimes easy to lose hope that that particular dog ever finds a forever home.
But Gia got adopted and MrBeast surprisingly gave the new owners $5,000 for any future dog expenses.
The custom photoshoot for each dog turns out to be so fun and very effective. It highlights the personality of each dog that is at the shelter for adoption: from the fluffy little white one to a rolly bulldog, from a cute little puppy to a quiet senior dog. Each pup gets a catchphrase for their custom billboard and this marketing campaign really gets traction.
Overall, MrBeast buys 50 billboards to get the word out!
MrBeast also tells adoptive families that he is paying for the adoption fees. This is a huge incentive for most who are on the fence about getting a dog from that shelter. To surprise families even more, MrBeast gives families Petco gift cards, as well.
This takes off a lot of stress from new dog owners who want to provide a new home for these pooches but might not be able to afford some of the dog things one needs (such as a kennel, vet bills or a beddy).
In the end, every single dog gets adopted and finds a happy FURever home. Each person was fully vetted and matched to their dog.
